We can’t wait for next time

Wow! We came in the off season and boy were we lucky. Everything was stunning – flowers in bloom, cherries on the tree, day-long sun. The hosts were incredibly easy to deal with (thank you). We had such a great time. The kids playroom is so cute – next time they’re coming with us. Thank you for a beautiful stay!! And thank you for the recommendations – we had such a lovely meal at Michel Trama’s restaurant. Can’t wait for the next visit!

What a wonderful holiday destination

Chateau Tournesol is a wonderful holiday destination for any amount of time. It is truly a piece of French history you are staying in, with its wonderful huge staircase, high ceilings, wall hung tapestries and grand entrance yet you also have the benefits of modern civilisation, a dishwasher, a swimming pool, a barbecue and, most importantly of all, very comfy beds. A great place to spend time with friends (due to its huge capacity) and chill out. It is within striking distance of civilisation for eating out and of course the local Carrefour for essentials and a huge selection of low priced French wine. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The most beautiful holiday venue

Possibly the most beautiful holiday venue I’ve ever had the privilege to visit. Stunning location, great accommodation, amazing beds and fantastic company. Don’t hesitate, book this place and enjoy it to the full.

A truly lovely time

Great location, stunning chateau with Fabulous grounds, and pool.

My first sighting of Coypu

Beautiful place, perfect for a chilled holiday break. The building is gorgeous and well appointed, with especially beautiful bathrooms. But the highlight is the surrounding garden and wider view. There are lawns for boules/croquet, an old shrine, and a beautiful lake. I got my first sighting of coypu – mother and baby. Memorable, and lovely.

Our Easter break

We had the most amazing stay here! We were there just after Easter and had enjoyed seeing the spring changes on the property. The chateau is spacious but the hosts have done an excellent job at making each room feel homely and comfortable. The rustic style kitchen was easy to use and it was such a delight to be able to sit on the patio and watch the wildlife on the pond. I would highly recommend, booking was easy and we’ll definitely be back!
