Great house in an idilic seaside town...
Great house in an idilic seaside town. Perfect for a family of 5. Sea was a few mins walk away and the views from the walks along the coastal path were like being in the Caribbean. Beer is a lovely little town with a great fish and chips shop and everything you will need. The house was great, very well fitted out and perfect for a few lazy days with 3 kids (10, 5 & 3). Definitely take an hours boat ride with local fisherman Kim Aplin (Boat E515), he was great. Wholeheartedly recommend this place.
The location was amazing...
Our stay in Beer was lovely. The location was amazing and the house and garden were great. Pretty well equipped - we cooked a few meals (recommend getting some fresh fish from Beer beach) and would recommend The Pig in Coombe for a special meal out as well as the lovely walk over to Branscombe. The Mason's Arms there is a great pub. We found the house a little difficult to find - didn't immediately come up on sat nav and was a little further up the road than the postcode suggests. Thank you so much!
