It was clean, furnished beautifully and surrounded by fields. The perfect location for relaxing and some peace and quiet! The wood burner and the hot tub were perfect and made the stay even better ! Pam was great, baked us lovely cupcakes and answered any questions we had ! The location is driving distance to local pubs, a large Tesco and the beautiful coastal cliffs – there’s a lot to do an explore ! If we go back to Devon we would love to stay here again.
2 x double bedrooms are great. We had a very relaxing weekend and would highly recommend.
Everything was explained to us on arrival and the check in process was completely hassle free. The host had great local knowledge and was willing to help us at any moment. There were homemade brownies waiting for us, the hot tub was clean and preheated ready and the space was immaculate. The beds were incredibly comfy and the view at night of the stars from the hot tub was a perfect way to wind down away from the big cities. Not a single complaint from everyone involved! 10/10 would come again.
Very spacious and thoughtfully prepared so that it had everything you would need. Delicious brownies were waiting for us on arrival. The hot tub went down very well with the family after a long drive and every following day. Our dog Baxter enjoyed the walk to the nearby forest. Loved our stay in Devon.
Great facilities and incredible scenery. The owner was lovely to us and gave us great tips about the local area. Cannot recommend more.
On arrival the lodge was exceptionally clean and we had fresh homemade brownies waiting for us. We were then greeted and shown how to to work everything including the hot tub! They were extremely helpful, giving us their local knowledge and even leaving some wellies out for us when we commented that we had forgotten ours. We loved and made great use of the hot tub. It was then lovely to be able to get showered and snuggle up in front of the log burner. The lodge is a perfect place to stay whether you want to go out and explore or just chill out for a few days with everything you need all in one place. I shall definitely be back!!
The location is great and easy to get to with many places to visit only being a short drive away. The lodge was very comfortable and sparkling clean with lots of extra luxury touches. Upon arrival we had some freshly baked brownies which were a really nice touch and Pam was very helpful and welcoming.
Host very friendly and helpful letting us know the local area. Lodge extremely clean. Bed was very comfortable.
