The Details

Stylish 2 bedroom, self-catering property, tastefully renovated to form spacious and flexible accommodation in the heart of beautiful North Devon. On the edge of Exmoor National Park, yet only minutes from the bustling market town of Barnstaple, this secluded property is only a 20 minute drive to some of the UK's most famous sandy beaches (Croyde, Woolacombe & Saunton Sands).

The West Wing is a Grade II listed former Devon farmhouse and a truly unique home. A property dating back to 1630 that has been impecably restored and lovingly designed. Parking provided for two vehicles, a private garden and BBQ area.

Tasteful design, the property provides all the feel of a high end boutique hotel with Moorish influences, yet set amongst lush green Devon meadows and woodland. Wander through the garden to a meadow and small woodland bordered by a meandering stream; an idyllic spot for children to explore the wildlife and burn off some energy.

Accessed via a private lane, the property is laid out on 3 floors with a luxurious master bedroom (with en-suite) on the top floor offering uninterrupted views over the North Devon countryside.

Wet room & WC finished with antique brass sink and shower fittings, tiled floor with underfloor heating to keep your toes toasty.

Open plan kitchen-dining room with original timber floorboards offering a sociable experience whilst catering for your guests, who can sit back and relax next to the woodburner.
Handmade oak table seating 4-6.
SMEG oven and ceramic hob, plus a great combination of usual kitchen mod cons and high spec appliances.

Twin room on the ground floor with en-suite WC / utility room. Perfect for 2 children or adults, this spacious room also has beanbags, chairs and Smart TV.

The Master bedroom showcases a ridiculously luxurious velvet upholstered king size bed.
The reclaimed barn door opens to reveal an en-suite showeroom / WC with brass fittings and tiled in crackle glaze Victorian tiles. The unique counter top sink has been hand-crafted by a local ceramicist. Extremely rare Civil War fireplace (sadly can't be used but enjoy its fabulous, unique design)
An outside seating area with 2 chairs and a small table, enjoy the views with your morning coffee or afternoon cream tea.

This very unique holiday stay is in a peaceful, quiet location, but also nearby to a large supermarket, shopping amenities and infamous North Devon beaches.
