A magnificent example of the modern shepherd hut, The Cow Shed
has been a labour of love for the owners. Inside and out, the
living areas ooze style, comfort and high end furnishing. For
individuals seeking solitude and creative space, or couples looking
for some stripped back intimacy, look no further.ย
Inside you'll find just enough to keep you self sufficient come
summer or winter; a small kitchenette, log burner, dining table and
sumptuous sofa which looks out over the grounds. A beautiful and
comfortable double bed with fine linen, completes this cosiest of
living spaces. There is also a very tranquil and relaxing shower
room and toilet at the end of the hut.ย
Outside the main attraction has to be the sheltered bath tub.
After drawing a hot bath and soaking up the effortless and endless
countryside views, you'd be hard pressed to not completely switch
off here. There are ample places to sit and read and sunbathe
around the hut, a bbq, pizza oven and probably the occasional cow
at the fence in case you get lonely.ย
Locally Crediton is a bustling market town with stacks of
history. It is a short drive or walkable for the more
energetic.ย You'll find everything from independent retailers,
grocers, charity shops and restaurants to large supermarkets and
even a train station connecting to Exeter or North Devon.ย
Exeter is obviously a short drive or train journey away, with
superb shopping, sports, dining and culture to be had.ย
