The Details

This property has been lovingly restored and renovated up to modern standards. It has been completely redesigmed to cater specifically for large groups and families coming together to holiday in South Devon. Teign Townhouse is underpinned with calming greys and hague blues throughout with a great use of light. 

The living space and bedrooms benefit from period high ceilings giving a certain sense of grandeur, but with luxurious carpets and new beds throughout, there is wonderfully homely feel here. Perfect come winter or summer for getting an entire tribe together for days exploring Dartmoor, and evenings bingeing on Netflix. 

On the lower ground floor there is a dedicated cinema room with 90 inch tv. This is linked to a projector and supplied with internet via ethernet from the router- no streaming quality issues here. Games room with new pool table, playstation and tv. 

Absolutely fantastic for the family enjoying their own space. Merge the generations together at dinner and over a game of monoply, then splinter off to your own corner of the house for some peace and privacy. 

 

The house is defined as having a ground floor, lower ground, first and second floors. 

Ground floor features the stunning living dining area with bespoke dining table and beautiful softwood floorboards. Here you will also find an ample sized kitchen featuring Smeg oven and stainless hob. 

Lower Ground Features the cinema room, games room, lower kitchen and garden room. 

First floor includes two double bedrooms and the superking bedroom. A double bathroom bathed in deep hague blues next to the super king (or twin) bedroom. 

On the second floor, the children's bunk room, and a further three double bedrooms.

Five Double Bedrooms, all generously sized.

One Super King bedroom - a zip and link that can be used as a twin.

Important Property Notes

For absolute transparency: this property is spread over four floors, with two of the bedrooms including the children's bunk room on the top (second) floor. 

Not advised for those with mobility issues, although there is a bedroom on the first floor. 

A hot tub supplement of £150 is due should you wish to use this

Late 2020 and Early 2021 the lower ground (secondary) kitchen and garden room are off limits and unaccessable due to final renovations. 

There is no parking allocated to this house. However for a very reasonable £25, Teignbridge Council offer a weekly parking ticket, which is also useable at many of their Teignbridge Car Park Sites. Yes - for the frugal family members out there - this is a great way to solve your parking quandry and plan some great days out locally!
