Lyme Cottage - A beautiful tastefully decorated family home nestled within the heart of Lyme Regis

The ground floor is open plan and incorporates a fully fitted kitchen and combined galley style utility area, including washer and dryer. The kitchen cuts clean crisp lines and some clever geometric themed tiles. There is a pair of Neff ovens which are so useful for creating meals and baking. Finally, a family sized fridge-freezer and some useful additions and kitchen appliances for baking and pasta making.

The living room has two large sofas, tv with bt box, a log burner for those visiting at the tail end of the year, plus a small play area and Yamaha digital piano for the musically minded out there. 

Upstairs there are 3 spacious bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 6. A master double bedroom with views up and down the Lym valley. Another generous sized double bedroom and the third bedroom features a sweet set of bunk beds, where the kids can hide away with there books (or possibly more likely, their tablet!). Finally there is a good sized family bathroom with walk in shower and heated towel rail.  

Outside through the patio doors, there is a fully enclosed garden with a decking area, providing the perfect spot for barbecues and al fresco dining. A nice little garden which includes fig and olive trees; in the height of summer it carries off a very mediterranean feel. With side access from the front, there is plenty of space to rinse off and dry all your wetsuits, boards, buckets and spades after your day at the beach. 

Authentic Lyme; this home is loved by its owners and it carries a very genuine and welcoming family friendly vibe. Lyme Cottage is a very popular and great value property for those visiting Lyme, for weekends or as a base for their annual Dorset holiday.

It is also an ideal size for those single households, who are looking for a seaside escape.  

Important Property Notes

We are pleased to confirm that Lyme Cottage accepts one well behaved dog. There is an additional charge of £60. 

Lyme Cottage is situated in a popular residential area of Lyme Regis. Guests are requested to respect their neighbours and working hours that local residents have. 

Parking to the front of the property is on the verge, on a first come basis. To the rear of the property there is an allocated space in front of the garage door. It is a 2min walk back around to the front of the property.   

The garage is not for use by guests. However guests have full use of front and rear garden, and decking terrace. 

With children, it is a 10-15 minute walk into Lyme Regis and to the beach. However, the route is beatiful and follows the River Lym down into the old town.
