Local Breweries of the Jurassic Coast

We’re blessed here on the Jurassic Coast to have some great local breweries who produce a fine array of ales and beers for you to try. Here are some of our favourites!

Otter Brewery

Otter Brewery was established in 1990, Otter began brewing its beer from a farmhouse located in Devon’s Blackdown Hills. The owners also run the Holt Pub in Honiton. To find out more go to otterbrewery.com

Cellar 59

Gyle 59 have now opened a cellar bar in Lyme Regis to showcase there beers alongside other natural unfined craft ales. Gyle 59 have 4 cask ales and 10 kegged beers and also have a small range of good wines, ciders, spirits and soft drinks from independent producers. To find out more go to gyle59.co.uk

Lyme Regis Brewery

The Lyme Regis Brewery located in the Town Mill in Lyme Regis, brew a range of five beers that are available to purchase all year round. All of the five regular beers have won the coveted ‘Taste of the West’. To find out more go to lymeregisbrewery.com

The Grapevine Brewhouse

The Exeter Brewery

Since changing their name from Topsham & Exminster Brewery in 2008, Exeter Brewery have expanded ever more rapidly. They have a fantastic site on Cowley Bridge Road where you can sample their produce and buy your own to take home. See theexeterbrewery.co.uk for more information
